The health and safety of our patients is our top priority, and we are providing these updates regarding Coronavirus concerns: 1. Our offices remain open because now more than ever a focus on improving your health is critical. According to Michael Osterholm (the leading infectious disease expert in the U.S.) maintaining a healthy weight is one of the key ways of avoiding severe complications to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We encourage you to communicate with us as often as needed to ensure your continued progress to a healthier you. We are always available during office hours, as well as via 24/7 on the text support line. 2. We are committed to doing everything we can to ensure our facilities continue to be a healthy place for you. We have always been focused on sanitary measures. Additionally we will be implementing: removing our sign-in sheets and pens from counters, putting up signs in the restrooms reminding patients, providers and staff to wash their hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, increasing the sanitization of door knobs, bathrooms, office equipment, light switches, and doors regularly. 3. In the event that further restrictions are applied regarding community interaction, we will conduct all check-ins via the phone. 4. If you have symptoms of fever, chills or cough, we ask that you call the office for a remote check-in. If you have concerns about either the flu or other viral conditions including Coronavirus, call your primary care physician office for assistance. We are with you during these unprecedented times and are committed to ensure your continued progress! |
