Most MMA fans know Paulo Thiago for his incredible performances on the UFC. What many people don't know is that his real job is to fight bad guys, as a Special Ops Police Officer in Brazil. For many years Paulo has been a special agent of BOPE (Special Operations Unit), having fought the most dangerous criminals in the country. BOPE has generated notoriety due to their role in the violent drug war in Brazil. As a special agent, Paulo has developed extensive experience in urban warfare and hand to hand combat, having used his fighting skills in several ocasions, both to help keep his community safe and, most importantly, to stay alive!
