Alexa is the Executive Director for BOWAworld and Producer for BOWAstudios. She is also an international speaker and co-author. She provides key leadership and analytical support to major marketing efforts aimed at creating new revenue opportunities and improving current performance. Alexa is in charge of market research and product development. She has a strong strategic sensitivity, appreciation for innovative marketing solutions and respect for the “brand.” Alexa’s unique perspective of the diverse local markets has enabled the company to blend in and provide and plays an instrumental role in the day-to-day operations. She has an intimate understanding of the structure businesses and continuously develops better and more effective methods for product expediency as well as strategic development in the areas of brand development and video marketing. She has been on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Women Business Owners, Global One, Mindbuzz Enterprises, Regional Policy Council for Miami Dade County, City Reach Ministries, FODS at Florida International University – Disability Resources Center and the Sr. Volunteer Coordinator for a 2004 U.S. Senatorial candidate. Alexa holds a and A.A. from Miami Dade Community College, a B.A. specializing in Marketing & Advertising from the University of Miami with Business Development accreditations from the University of Florida. She enjoys traveling and has experience in the travel industry having worked at Pan American Airlines, American Airlines, Iberia Airlines, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Alexa was also the Chair of Human Resources for the organization and was the lead coordinators for the non-profit sector of Consortium 360 Haiti. This organization was dedicated to the United Nations’ – Millennium Development Goals, and focuses on creating social responsibility and self-sufficient communities throughout the world. She has also received Certifications for “Human Trafficking: An Emerging Epidemic,” “Training in Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children. Today she holds a seat on the board for a U.S. based non-profit Motivational Missions and is a Founding member. She is also a member of the South Florida Human Trafficking Task Force (SFHTTF) and the 2015 Miami Beach Hispanic Heritage Adult Contributor to Youth Award Winner.
