Vanessa has been a massage therapist for nearly 8 years and really specializes in upper body work (neck, upper thoracic area, and rotator cuff issues especially). The reason? When Vanessa was a teenager, she had extensive surgery that resulted in two of the vertebrae in her neck being fused together. That resulted in years of chronic upper body pain, which eventually led her to discover massage therapy as an effective way of managing her pain.

Vanessa has really honed her skill when it comes to relieving that type of chronic pain, because it's something she deals with almost daily. She knows how you're feeling, because she feels it too.

Today she is one of our top therapists when it comes to working with clients with upper body issues (though she can certainly address your lower back and hips as well!). She works at our location at the Spinal Decompression and Chiropractic Center on Mondays, and at our Malone St. office Tuesday, Weds, Thursday, and Sunday.

Collecting gift cards for CASA kids!

Our November and December Massage for a Cause partner is CASA of Denton County

When a child enters the foster care system because their home is no longer safe, a judge may appoint a committed volunteer to help them. That volunteer is called a Court Appointed Special Advocate®, or CASA. CASA volunteers are frequently the only stable presence in these children's lives as they navigate the foster care system.

We are currently collecting gift cards to be used as stocking stuffers and holiday gifts for the children in the CASA program. The next time you're at the store, please pick up a gift card or two to show these kids that we care for them!
