June "Massage for a Cause" Partner:
The food pantry at Strickland Middle School
 

Leah Cook is the school nurse at Strickland and realized that a lot of times, what "her kids" needed most of all was just some food. So she started stocking her nurse's office with granola bars. It soon blossomed into a food pantry that dozens of students utilize every day. You can watch an NBC5 news story about Nurse Cook's pantry below.

Soma Massage Therapy wants to support Nurse Cook and the students at Strickland by providing more food and supplies for this much-needed food pantry. Because if you're hungry, you can't learn -- and the future of EVERYONE depends on well-nourished, well-educated kids!

Bring one or more items on this list to our main office and you'll be entered to win a free 1-hour massage. Even if you don't have an appointment here, you can still participate AND know that you're making a difference in the lives of a lot of school kids!
