Yoga with Cyndy is proud to bring Subtle Yoga to our community. Created by Kristine Kaoverii Weber, Subtle Yoga is a system of breath, meditation and mindful movement. Unlike yoga practices that focus on strength and strong flows, Subtle Yoga is a sustainable yoga practice that adapts to our varying needs depending on our health, lifestyle, age, and energy. It incorporates processes such as mindful movement, breathing practices, meditation, awareness of values/ethical engagement, spiritual development, and service. This practice will promote attention, mindfulness, body awareness, self-regulation, resiliency, self-actualization, and pro-social behavior while calming the nervous system, improving breathing, and increasing the body-mind connection. During the first part of this Masterclass, we will discuss and learn the principles of Subtle Yoga followed by a full practice. Due to the person-centered approach of this practice, this Masterclass will be limited to 20 people. Class cost is $27. |
