A few days ago I happened to have the local news on and I heard the meterologist say, "This is why May is called 'the transition month.'" And it made sense to me! May really is that month where we finally start to see the temps start to warm up (especially here in the Northeast). The ground that had been frozen solid during the winter has finally thawed and nature seems to be bursting with color as the trees and flowers come to life. (I mean, seriously, I can't be the only one suffering from allergies, can I?) May is also that time where many of us start emerging from our "winter caves." This year I've noticed a little bit more a spring (pardon the pun!) in my step as I take my daily walks in the park and see Little League games being played again. This is also the time of year when my inbox, social media messages and phone start to overflow with two of the most popular questions I get: 1. Are you doing beach yoga again this year? 2. When does it start? 2021 will be our fifth year at the beach! I truly am looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces again and I can't wait to meet our new friends who will be joining us for the first time this year. The season will start Memorial Day weekend (weather permitting -- so please let's all start doing our sunny weather dances now!). Keep an eye out for more infomration in the coming weeks, but you'll find the schedule below.👇 If the beach isn't your thing -- don't worry! I still have plenty of online offerings this month, including the always popular New and Full Moon classes and I will be still be teaching Sunday mornings at Positions Dance Studio in Babylon Village. See you on the mat! ~Cyndy |
